The start
The company was established in 1975 as “Larive & Partners” by the Larive family, notably Joan Larive, an international lawyer, and his uncle Hans Larive, a former member of the Executive Board of Royal Dutch Shell.
In 1986 the company was acquired by the current managing partners Frank Zuure and Haiko Emanuel and soon renamed to Larive International.
Today
Today Larive International operates the Dutch consultancy activities and is the parent of the Larive Group, a membership-based network in some 30 countries in Europe, Asia and Africa.
All members of the group are owned by their local managing partners. In some members Larive International holds an equity stake.
